Order from China to the UK via EMS?

Its just really slow they get stuck there for days over there I ordered a item from china on the 8th of june and just got my item this morning. In theory to get something to the UK via EMS normally takes around 2 Weeks sometimes longer but in most of my orders done via EMS they take that around a fortnight. I have never had it come any quicker than that ever and have ordered lots of items that have been shipped by them.
