My child won't sleep through the night at age 4!?

I seriously don't know what to do. We've sabotaged her in some ways. I know this. First, she slept in our room until she was 18 mos. old because we had no choice. She had her own bed and we didn't go to bed with her, but still. She was sick for the majority of her first three years, so more often than not, we soothed her to sleep. About three months ago, we started putting her to bed without us in the room and that was going well, though we've never had problems with her GOING to sleep...just staying asleep. She was getting it. She was only waking once a night. We'd put her back and she was fine. Then three weeks ago she got sick again. She's better now, but she's waking 3-4 times a night and screaming bloody murder if one of us doesn't stay with her...mainly me. She's become ten times more clingy with me than she EVER was. She won't even take a bath without me being in the bathroom as opposed to just daddy. She won't use the bathroom, go to any other room or let me leave the room without following. I'm getting literally 3 hours of broken sleep a night. She goes to daycare and likes it, but where I used to be able to give her a kiss and say "I'll see you this afternoon.", now she cries when I leave, and hangs on my leg until I literally hand her to her teacher. It's killing me! My husband does take her back to her bed so that I can get at least some sleep, but she still wakes several times. Nothing traumatic has happened to her, except that she was home with us for a week solid when she got sick, but it's been almost two weeks and she isn't getting past this separation anxiety. Any advice?

I have 3 dogs - a male and 2 females. Both females have been spayed for several years. The female Boxer sleeps in a kennel between her mate (male Boxer) and a female terrier. That's where I found this tarry, blackish purple colored stuff in a thin layer just outside her cage this morning. It was dry and flaky looking. Just yesterday I'd washed out all the cages. There was also a small pile (this morning) of what looked like might be excrement, also tarry and blackish. So I'm suspecting a bloody stool. Usually Addison's is linked to findings on electrolytes (sodium potassium ratio), and as you said there were no significant findings when this test was performed on your dog, but keep in mind that not all cases have all symptoms. So i have a habit of blacking out when angry but not like a bid mad like im about throw punches.. what could it be...? Even so, you'll probably start out around $45k, but senior dispatchers and sups can make well over $100k. So as a controller I think you'd make more money at the beginning of your career, but overall you'd see very similar salary caps between both careers. Also depends what type of dispatcher you are. If you're a Scheduler, you won't make as much. I will also wager the dispatcher has a bit less stressful of a job.

What Could I have Done Differently?

My Guinea Pig sow died Saturday from childbirth. I'm not sure exactly how old she was, but my guess is 7 months or so. She had two still born pups on Friday night at 9:30 pm- they were obviously under-developed because they had no hair, fused eyelids and ear buds that were not fully formed. After she had them, I removed them from the cage to let her rest...but I saw no blood, placenta or cords of any kind. The next day she was lethargic and obviously in pain. I noticed some bloody discharge in her cage. I wrapped her in a towel and put a hot compress on her to try to induce the discharge of the placenta and rubbed her belly gently. She seemed septic already and was shivering, and I though of giving her infants tylenol susp.-but I didn't want to give her anything that could damage her liver. My only thought was if the placenta didn't come out, or another pup was in there...she would die of sepsis. So, I put gentle pressure on her belly right above her vagina and held onto the cord coming out of her, but didn't tug or pull...yet she died on my lap after about a minute of trying at around 4pm, less than 24 hours after giving birth. I find it hard to believe she was that septic already. Was it me pulling the cord? Maybe the babies were dead for awhile and she was septic from that to begin with? I have no experience with this and her widow will remain alone because I DO NOT want to deal with this again. Does anyone have any input? Is this common?

I am 40 Weeks and 5 Days Overdue, This morning I had a braxton hicks contraction and i felt a little gush come out, when i went to look when i went to the bathroom and it looked like a gush of blood almost like on your period but it filled up the whole center of my panty liner. Well ,, my period started on Wednesday June 15th 2011 ; and has been going for 15 days .. & still hasn't stopped . 40 weeks pregnant, consistent contractions but not very painful??

So I am exactly 40 weeks pregnant. I've been having consistent contractions that are 5-8 minutes apart, but they arent really painful, just tight. Saturday night I lost my "bloody show." Yesterday I went to the hospital because they were actually even closer, anywhere from 3-7 minutes apart, but not painful. Well yesterday at 3pm I was almost 2cm and 60% effaced. They sent me home because I wasnt progressing and my contractions werent strong enough. Now they're not quite as close but a little stronger... What would you do? Anyone had this happen to them???

So i have a habit of blacking out when angry but not like a bid mad like im about throw punches.. what could it be...? I've had a cold and i've been getting random nose bleeds.?

Now i've searched around, and i've seen people that have had nose bleeds from when they blow their nose. but that hasn't been the case. Last year i had a large 10cm cyst removed whilst pregnant. when my baby was 8 weeks old i started having a dull ache in my pelvic region i got refered to my gynocologict and had scan which was clear. Pizza Hut Delivery Driver mileage reimbursement......?

I am a delivery driver for Pizza Hut. The store I work for is not franchise owned, it is owned by Pizza Hut, i.e. corporate. Recently, corporate changed our pay rate to a "tip credit" in which we are paid $3.00 less than minimum wage while we are dispatched on a delivery. While I understand this is completely legal as I have done my own research, I am little concerned about our mileage reimbursement as we use our own vehicles and always have. (Mileage reimbursement remains the same as it was before the tip-credit pay change). Pizza Hut charges a delivery fee of $2.00 to the customer for each delivery. Pizza Hut tracks our mileage at a set 4 miles per delivery. However, drivers are never asked to report their actual mileage at the end of shift, it is a set 4 miles per delivery. Of the $2.00 that is charged to the customer per delivery, we receive $1.35 of that as reimbursement. If I do my math correctly, $1.35 divided by 4 miles equals 33.75 cents per mile. As we use our own vehicles for deliveries, the Federal standard for mileage reimbursement is 51 cents per mile. Obviously, 51 cents multiplied by 4 miles is more than the entire $2.00 delivery charge, meaning something doesn't add up. Is it legal for Pizza Hut to only reimburse us 33.75 cents per mile when drivers are not asked to report their actual mileage and are using our own vehicles? Is it also legal that a set-in-stone $1.35 be reimbursed to drivers per delivery or should this be done based on the Federal rate of 51 cents per miles based on actual mileage? And because we are never asked to report our actual mileage, we do not keep record of this as Pizza Hut has record of it, recorded at 4 miles per delivery. My understanding would be that if Pizza Hut records our mileage at a set 4 miles per delivery, we should be reimbursed $2.04 per delivery. I keep a spreadsheet which shows my tips, reimbursement, total amount of hours, total number of deliveries, etc. since I started with the company in February of this year. Do I have a case to seek reimbursement for the 69 cent difference in reimbursement ($2.04 minus $1.35) multiplied by the total number of deliveries I have had since I began with the company?

While working one day I decided to take a nap, I was asleep for maybe 20 minutes. I woke up to go out on a call and walked down to the truck. After riding for about 10 minutes I didn't notice anything out of the blue. My partner ask me to use the radio for a minute to ask dispatch a question, I picked up the radio and tried to ask the question she told me, I was unable to form the words I was trying to say, some words came out ok but others were jumbled and not even words I was trying to say. I had slight numbness in my hands. I dont remember any specific weakness on either side and I still understood what my partner was saying to me. It lasted for about 5-8 minutes and I began to slowly talk more correctly over the next couple of minutes. It lasted from start to finish maybe 10 minutes and I was fine....blood pressure checks were a little high 145/100 but I think it was because I was stressing over it. Vitals after I calmed down were all normal. I am only 22 yo and before everyone says it I am going to the doctor tomm. after work. I am just trying to get some other opinions on what else this may have been until I can get in for testing

I think i have ghost issues!?

Well, to be honest, weird things happen in my house. I live in our 4 room basement, with my younger brother. My older sister, who is 22, had weird, creepy dreams when she slept in the basement, before she moved out. THe dreams ALWAYS consisted of a little boy with no eyes who got run over by a train and our house was built over his body! (CREEPY!) And weird things happen all the time, such as; Knocking noises, lights flickering, scratching, things being moved, doors left shut being opened, and sometimes, late, late into the night if Your still awake, freaking bloody murder screams, like someone is murdering people in my house! I always check, and no on es there. Its not harmful, because no body's been "Attacked" or scratched, or bitten, but these have been hap pending for years now but get worse with time. Why do people play head games?

Head games being any action that brings pain mentally or physical to someone else, just to be cruel or have control. In romantic situations of course, it seems to me that every girl I date happens to be obsessed with drama. I know this is just a poor taste in character on my behalf. But still as to what means to people of any gender, feel this silly need to mess with someones emotions and play games with the heart. It's one thing to be honest, like to be honest I would much rather prefer someone to be honest with me before they went and had relations with another person while engaged in a relationship. For example, I have a ex that always talks to me about her and her new boyfriend. She isn't really a happy person to begin with so I try to be nice. She likes to talk about our past and such and tells me she wants me back and so on so forth. My outright concern to this is, she had been asking me to do some things that would be offensive to the partner if they where ever to find out about such things. It makes me wonder, when I was with her. Was she talking to her ex's and requesting the same treatment from them without me knowing and pretending like it was ok to be romantically involved with someone but to crave and lust for another person of a past relationship; but never act on these statements that she proclaimed to be true? Is it that she is just simply not satisfied with life, or does she feel the need to always have someone besides the person she is with, to be interested in her romantically? As for many other people, why must people intrude in another life when they have dispatched of a relationship, attempting any means to make a persons life as miserable as they can possibly succeed at. Making there way into your family and friends trying to turn them against you, just to get back at you for treating them right.... I have also done a good job of staying away from all the drama, but simple curiosity has always led me to wonder as to what brings on these means of behavior? I am also wondering if pursuing a romantic relationship at the age scale of 20 to 30 is a wise idea for I am not sure if I will be in this town for much longer due to the simple fact that I must pursue a job that pays well and in order to do such a thing I must also leave to attend to schooling. Nit hell! Advice please?

my little puppy i got on thursday June 23rd was diagnosed with parvovirus on saturday June 25th. on friday june 24th my puppy was doing fine towards the evening she became depressed wouldn't walk or move made groaning noises when i picked her up, she wouldn't eat but she did drink water that we mixed with karo syrup. after she drank that she threw up clear liquid she did have diarrhea but it was not bloody or foul smelling. she has been hospitalized for 3 days and hooked up to IVs. she was improving yesterday morning and in the evening she got a tad bit worse, today she hasn't threw up and is looking more alive but still wont eat. ive been praying like hell she will survive. has anyone gone through this and have any success stories? Well there isn't an alternative... This can cause mange (where your dog has hair loss in multiple spots on his body until it completely takes over). Unless of course you take him to the vet and get the medication. You will be spending more money if you wait than if you go now. I know this because my dog just recently had a similar problem. I don't live in CA but I used a community college for my nursing school pre-reqs and started off with the intention of doing clinicals at the community college too, but their waiting list was almost 2 years. No thanks. I suggest asking the schools straight out what their pre-reqs are and the waiting list for clinicals at each college. You might find a class such as Chemistry is required at one college, but not the other. Something simple like this could save you like &800 and an entire year of waiting for clinicals. Best of luck!

Acciddently created ALL songs in ITUNES to be by one artist (Cypress Hill!!)?

This may sound tedious but you can rename them individually, and no problems they will still play. I renamed mine as a lot came under "T" groups the Beatles etc. I just removed the "the" and it is more spread across the alphabet. I save my music to "my music"(surprise) and backup to an external hard drive to a folder of the same name, and copy n paste or click n drag,either way, following the prompts carefully. If I only have one or two I just do them but as a standard backup I do all personal data, on a regular basis, including business data, twice a month. Why are 100's of bees swarming around my cypress pines, i cant see a hive?

These are probably honey bees. They use the sap to make propolis in the hive which is a substance they use as a cement and a sealer. They don't have many sources for it in the winter so they are getting it from your tree on warm days.They are not actually swarming. Bees swarm in the spring and only IF they have a queen, not in search of one or for the lack of one as some say.Bees leave the hive as a swarm with the old queen when a new one is born to take her place in the original hive when the hive becomes overpopulated in the spring. The bees you are seeing are just foraging and will not attact you. The are just after the sap.

Well, I've been dating this girl (A) for a while, and it's been going great. But there's another girl (B). Now, I was good friends with Girl B long before I met my girlfriend, Girl A. The issue is that I'm starting to have feelings for Girl B. Well shyt evolves and hip hop is so based on technology that the music is gonna sound better. Also wordplay and subject matter to a lesser extent gets better and more unique as well. Don't worry, I would have the same reaction but later I would research it and find out the idea behind it. I think, in my opinion, that art is a way to express how the person feels. In history, people used art all the time to get their idea across. Its kind of like a code of how to express your feelings and also to send a message. Idk what message the artists were trying to send but for the mirror I think its a great piece of art because whoever looks into it sees themselves. And that's the punch, everyone is a masterpiece with thier own talents, (deep but true). Anyways, I hope this reminds people to think outside the box and to see the bigger picture. Could this be my bloody show?

I had an internal exam yesterday (I am 40 weeks and then some!) There was blood which turned to brown and stopped early this morning. I have been dry and clean since 8am but now at 3:30 there is pink yucky stuff in my undies (sorry, TMI) I have been having BH for weeks now and today is no exception. I also have been crampy and very emotional. Anyone know if this is my bloody show or if it is a remainder from yesterday?

I need to figure out a schedule?

Okay I work security and our schedule is all messes up. Everyone is complaining about it not being fair the thing is there is 4 officers per shift and there is 4 positions that need to be covered. Monday through Friday there is dispatch desk, patrol, visitor sign In, and patient stand by now the logical thing to do is rotate every position every two hours but the thing that throws that offf is that on the weekends we have an extra 2 officers and they do the front desk one In the main hospital and one In the pavilion....can anyone help???

After a bit of thought, i think that there is no name which is given to words in the Bible or otherwise, which just happen to have numbers of some kind or another, in front of them. Numbers are placed in front of sentences, paragraphs and particular words and passages, for a variety of different reasons, so there is no special property to whatever comes after or before any particular number. Therefore, I think that the term you are seeking, does not exist. There may be a name given to words that come after specific kinds of numbers in certain specific situations, such as the first word in a given Bible verse, but i am unaware of such a thing.

I have had my period now for almost over two weeks? What should I do?

I have had diarrhea for a week now that has been through a few stages. First stage was very bad abdominal pain and mushy mucus semi bloody stool. Then it was just mucus and blood. A friend told me to eat rice, bananas and drink Gatorade to gain back electrolytes. Now my stool is solid but soft and a lot of mucus coating it. My abdominal pain is back but not as bad. Why do rock fans seem to be alot less tolerant of rap, than rap fans are to rock?

for example, if you youtube a rap song, a majority of the comments are aimed toward lyrics, and comparisons with other rappers.there is also alooot hatred for mainstream pop, such as justin beiber and lady gaga.however if you youtube a rock song, they constantly seem to degrade rap, even going as far as to say it isnt music.not only is that, but they also share a similar hatred towards mainstream pop.i find this especially curious, seeing as how some of the greatest rappers incorporate rock into their music, such as run dmc, cypress hill, and dr dre.yet if a rock band incorporates rap, they are often shunned, such as linkin park, rage against the machine etc.this is just my opinion, please respect it, even if you dont agree.

What Tree should I plant?

We need shelter trees for our cattle and horses. We planted Leyland Cypress and after three years of growing well large numbers have died due to waterlogging. Glad the drought it over, fingers crossed. Where can I find out what trees will thrive in these boggy conditions? We are in a cool climate zone, inland low lying swamp area.
